When a pick list is selected, you can define values for the picklist. See Figure 5-17.

On the Options tab, you can set the field as required if necessary and set whether to allow user input other than the values in a picklist. Additionally, you can set a default value for the field. See Figure 5-18.

The Layout tab of the new field dialog allows you to define where the new field should be positioned by selecting the page and the group in the layout. You can even create a new group from here and add the new field to it. See Figure 5-19.
